It hasn't been that long since he's moved to Sootopolis, he had finally found a place to live. Though he was far from being able to call his place his 'home.' And while Razz had come to learn how to stay within his little hole in the wall for weeks on in. There were still nights were his brother's Meowstic would kick him out to get some exercise. [break][break]

Something he was highly regretting right now as last night while taking a trail he had miss stepped and hand fallen down a cliffside along the natural walls that enclosed the city. The stumble had injured him, scrapping his body up and spraining an ankle. And he has been spending hours trying to climb out despite the pain, until a Vullaby attacked which had him falling right back down again. Raziel could do nothing but growl in frustration as it seemed a committee of vultures were intent on keeping him down, while he himself didn't have either of his pokemon with him. [break][break]

"Oi anyone up there?!" he finally decides to call out see if there were any human life near by that could be of use.

as much as he liked working with Laurence Anderson — especially when his fellow ranger let loose and didn't look so dang grumpy all the time — there was something freeing about being on his own. ollie really relished in it, especially when it let him travel to cities he didn't get to hang out around all the time.

[break][break] ollie follows the mission report to SOOTOPOLIS CITY, where he hears that there is a missing civilian. eyewitness reports didn't indicate much, only that they had last seen the person walking along one of the paths on the city's outskirts and were concerned where the person could have gotten to.

[break][break] the elite ranger and his pikachu were wandering the city's walls, asking various civilians if they'd seen anything, when there was a sudden shout from below. ollie waved a quick goodbye and then hung himself over the railing, to see a short-haired man (kid.. boy?) staring up at him.

[break][break] was that him?

[break][break] "hey kid! you fell pretty far, huh? don't worry! help's coming!"

[break][break] he glanced backwards at him but the tourists that he'd been speaking to were miraculously missing. he looked down the other side of the path - nope, also gone. he punched a few numbers into his ranger gadget to call for help, but it would be at least like, thirty minutes until help arrived.

For awhile he ponders about if this is his fate. Killed by some pokemon playing games as if paying him back for his own past of death to many pokemon. Though honestly the mocking chuckles from them were getting on his nerves, especially in this heat. If his arm wasn't as banged up as it was from his 2nd fall he might have throw something at them. [break][break]

Its a voice that calls to him that finally makes him look up. Fucking finally, if he could feel such emotion Razz would swear he's in love. Which would immediately turn to hate as the man tells him to calm down. Does he have any idea how long he's been down here!? "You have pokemon don't you, why don't YOU do something!?" he yells up, if the guy was there to help then help.

[break][break] "okay, wait wait! i'll be right down." he disappears after a moment — who knows where — and then re-appears, his pokeball flashing out to reveal his togetic. "jellybean, think you could help him?"

The young teen grumbles as it looks like the other just disappears glaring at the flock Vullaby with a death glare before he hears the sound of a pokeball opening to release the togetic. Though it seems the wild pokemon don't seem to favor the idea of someone messing with their prey as a few leavy the flock to try and use a group GUST against the ranger's pokemon. [break][break]

"I think you have other things to worry about!" Raziel calls out knowing the wild pokemon would be a problem in any type of climbing attempt. So for now all he could see if the Ranger had any skill to back up his 'rescue.'

[break][break] or well, jellybean has it. the togetic releases first a FAIRY WIND to sweep against the wild pokemon's gust. a sprinkle of pretty pink fairy dust trickles down, enough to tickle Raziel Beckett's nose, before a SWEET KISS is thrown the wild pokemon's way.

[break][break] reaching into his belt, he also releases his heracross who buzzes it's way down towards the kid. maybe with two flying pokemon, he'd have a better chance?

[break][break] "huckleberry," ollie calls. "try and help him up."

[break][break] wings abuzz, the insect pokemon attempts to grab onto the other's backpack.

The fairy wind hits and the Vullaby caw back at the fairy pokemon. Though in the end they find that fighting would be too much more trouble than it's worth especially as one of them seemed very confused after the Sweet Kiss all of his previous tormentors going on their merry way. Had results been immediate Razz might have been impressed, but for the moment he had been suffering too long to care. [break][break]

As the Heracross comes down, Raziel looks the bug pokemon up and down. Not sure if they'd be strong enough to lift him up at first, but then recalls just how much weight he has lost in the past several months so just allows it as once more he attempts to climb up with the pokemon's help.

huckleberry is stronger than he looks and with some effort, the heracross is able to drag the young boy from his spot down below all the way above.

[break][break] ollie opens his arms out wide, just in case that the other falls, but luckily he doesn't. he jogs up to them, gently patting the dust off Raziel Beckett's shoulder.

The young man is huffing and buffing from exhaustion, its having been way too long since he left his bed let alone his apartment to be dealing with such bull crap. He can't help but flinch back when the other suddenly tries to brush him off, the teen still not used to touch. Or at least other people as he has been cooped up in his room for what felt like a year now. Taking a moment to calm himself and try to remember that right he wasn't in danger here. [break][break]

"m'fine," is all he mutters before he just starts walking back, no real thank you or anything as his skills with dealing with people weren't what they are now adays.
